CSV to Excel

Or paste the content instead

Why not just open the CSV in Excel?
Opening a CSV directly in Excel often scrambles it: accented letters and other languages turn into odd symbols, semicolon-separated files land in a single column, and long numbers like phone or card numbers lose their leading zeros or switch to scientific notation. Converting first keeps every value as text exactly as it was in the file.
How to use the CSV to Excel
- Choose a CSV file, or paste CSV text.
- Optionally name the sheet.
- Click Convert and download your .xlsx file.
Frequently asked questions
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read and converted by your own browser, so it never leaves your device. That makes it safe for customer lists, finances and other private data.
Which separators are supported?
Commas, semicolons, tabs and pipes. The separator is detected automatically from the first lines of the file.
Will leading zeros be kept?
Yes. Values are stored as text, so codes like 00123 and long numbers stay exactly as they appear in the CSV.
