Extract vs split

Use Extract when you only need a few pages from a long document, like a single chapter or the signature page. Use Split PDF when you want to break the whole document into parts.

How to use the Extract PDF Pages

  1. Choose a PDF file.
  2. Click the pages you need, or type them (e.g. 1, 4-6).
  3. Choose one PDF or one per page, then extract and download.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything happens inside your browser, so your documents never leave your device. That makes it safe for contracts, invoices and other private files.

In what order are pages saved?

Clicked pages are saved in document order. Typed ranges are saved in the order you type them, so 5, 1-2 puts page 5 first.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

Not yet. Remove the password in your PDF reader first (you’ll need to know it), then use the tool on the unlocked copy.
