Your file will appear here.

Why do websites use WebP?

WebP files are typically 25–35% smaller than JPGs at the same quality, so websites load faster. But some older apps, email clients and photo editors still can’t open them. Converting to JPG makes the image work everywhere. Transparent areas become white.

How to use the WebP to JPG

  1. Choose one or more WebP images.
  2. Keep JPG selected (or pick PNG for transparency).
  3. Click Convert and download.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded?

No. Images are processed by your browser on your own device, so private photos never leave it.

Will the JPG look worse?

At “High” or “Balanced” quality the difference is not visible. Choose PNG if you need a lossless copy.

Can I convert many files at once?

Yes. Choose several WebP files and download them together as a .zip.
