Trim Video
Play the video, mark where the clip starts and ends, and save just that part, without uploading or adding a watermark.
Your file will appear here.
First use downloads the video engine once (about 31 MB). After that it’s cached and starts instantly.
Fast or precise?
Fast copies the video without re-encoding, so it’s instant and lossless, but it can only start at a keyframe, which may be up to a couple of seconds before your chosen start. Precise re-encodes the clip so it starts on the exact frame; it takes longer.
How to use the Trim Video
- Choose a video and play it to find your clip.
- Set the start and end (type them or use “Use current time”).
- Pick Fast or Precise, then Trim video and download the clip.
Frequently asked questions
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser using a WebAssembly version of FFmpeg, the same engine professional video tools use. Your file never leaves your device.
Why does my fast clip start a little early?
Fast mode cuts at the nearest keyframe so it can avoid re-encoding. Use Precise for a frame-accurate start.
Is there a watermark?
No. There’s never a watermark, and no sign-up.
